Question. I know that player ratings stop improving after the conclusion of the conference tournament... and that conference tournament gains do not negatively impact player promises.

but what about Work Ethic? Do you continue getting boosts to WE for playing and starting players during the conference tournament?

I am debating benching a freshman (that desperately needs more WE) for a much better upperclassmen during the conference tourney, but I would consider NOT doing it if I can squeeze a little extra WE gain out by leaving the freshman in.

I believe WE improvement stops after the regular season but I'm not sure I've ever tracked it closely enough to be 100% confident of my answer.

All ratings increase as normal till the end of the CT

i thought it was only the first 2 games of the CT, they improved for, def could be wrong

This is correct. Starts are the leading reason for WE increase. If WE gain is is the reason for the question from the OP, then feel free continuing starting the freshman all the way thru CT play

im still not buying it, but my memory on this issue probably dates back 10 years, so definitely sketchy. i just seem to recall the CT is jacked up somehow when it comes to improvement. perhaps, not all teams get to play during the CT - for fairness, the rest of us get some of our CT games treated as exh - or something. maybe.

It's all of the CT. I have paid attention to it before on purpose to see.

ah, that explains it, thanks! that's good to know, i've been playing as if there was no reason to start anyone but your best lineup from the CT on - no impact on promises or growth. not sure it will change much in practice, but still

Yep, 34 total practices. 2 for the exhibitions, 26 regular season games, 2 off days, plus practices for all 4 days of the CT.

as a side note. Work Ethic has never improved during the exhibition games. I see many seemingly going with the freshmen to get a quick WE bump before the regular season begins.

Years ago, girt confirmed via a ticket gains happen more rapidly in exhibition games when players start. Granted that was before 3.0, but I've operated under the assumption that's still the case.

It still matters get the froshses the start.

i thought specifically it was the opposite, that exhibition games were treated like an off day on the schedule (practice, but no game). i also thought CT after the 2nd game was the same, or something along those lines, but it sounds like potentially none of that is true now? not really sure.

I worked with girt/dalter on an issue regarding WE in preseason. Those that knew him, knew he sent a lot of requests to customer service and often had others send in follow up questions. As he felt they just dismissed him much of the time.
This must have gone back 10 years, maybe even back to HD v1, pre-potential days.

I think the answer received came from a less experienced CS person. They mentioned WE improves in exhibitions, but I've never had a WE improve from one number to another during exhibitions.

I thought they said it improves by 1point in each playoff numerial classified game all the way until you run out of fruit and then prepare for next season. So what I do in div III lockout I schedule sims who shouldn't beat me out to next seasons however the ones who do become Grey then white then I x them off kinda like track meets I am about near break period and I am shipping to Brooklyn next go around I haven't filled up my fruits nearly as much as ya'll have I started this account with pennies.
