Gotcha. Saw a lot of Helton when he played Double AA for the New Haven Ravens. Great time for future MLB players. You could see the ball jump off his bat. Different sound. Edgardo Alfonzo was a similar player. You could tell that they were headed for bigger things.

Why not just let him try and trade the 17 Speaker???

Hmmm... while the intention is good, I think this sets a bad precedent. Who's to say somebody else will draft a clone for purposes of trying to trade. I think ejstockman's solution is fair.

I agree. Just take him off the board.

I don't want to make this into a big controversy. Clearly it was unintentional. I come from the school of thought that even though it was an honest mistake, its still not something he should profit from. Hence why I decided initially not to allow a trade. There are SOOOO many outfielders out there. Lets just replace him.
