Highest stats you have seen - player or team Topic

So I just got bombed last night (I expected to lose) from three point land. One of my opponents players hit 8 3-pointers in the first half which was insane and hit another two in the 2nd half for 10. I think he finished 10-18 from deep. Impressive but I think I have maybe seen that before. Anyway, it got me thinking about highest individual or team performances in any stat, and the first thing that came to mind is that I have NEVER seen a player record double figures in assists in a game. NEVER. I have seen 40 and even 50 points games from players from time to time, 20 plus rebound games a few times, but never a 10 assist game from an individual player. Has anyone seen this before?
Also please feel free to share some of the highest individual or team performances from a game that you have seen in any stat.
Hope everyone is staying sane out there and be safe.

My SG had a 10 assist game to open the season this year:

Wow - that is impressive ABG. Even more surprising though was his Passing rating. Since I have never seen a 10 assist game before when you told me about your player I just assumed he had a passer rating at least in the upper 80's plus range, but no.

the key to getting a high assist PG is to have really poor bh/pass for the rest of the team. same story if you want a C to average 10 boards/game (just have a tremendously awful rebounding team outside the 5).

in both cases, this is a direct result of 'team' stats getting assigned to players, based on no 'action' but rather with the probability the game 'thinks' will make 'the stats look reasonable'. with assists - this is the whole story, and actually, the team assists are based on total garbage too. team assists are randomly assigned based on what the game thinks will look good so individual assists are pure garbage on top of pure garbage. at least with rebounding, team rebounding relies on the players. but then stats are doled out in a way partially disconnected from those players' contribution. so individual rebounding stats are partial garbage on top of something real, so they are kinda messed up but at least reasonable.

This was the best single-game stat line by my now two-time National Player of the Year in Allen, Eric Myers. It came against a horrible Sim AI defensive team running a 2-3 zone.

He averaged 43.0 ppg in the regular season. Postseason play has a little more even distribution so depending on when the season ends, his senior season average will settle somewhere closer to 40.0. Before the conference tournament he had already passed the former all-time leading scorer for Allen, a place that was a goal I had for him this season. Now I want him to close the deal on a third National Championship (he won his first in his redshirt season, but it still counts even if his only contribution was on the "practice hardwood"). This last goal is a long shot though. Allen D2 is stacked this season, led by none other than the great, Robinhood.

I was pretty shocked too, i hadn’t set my player distro up correctly and so I think that contributed to the weirdness of it

Setting your PG distro to zero jacks up his assists as well.

My one and only triple double was in points, rebounds, and assists by a PG with a REB rating of 1.

good point TJ. i don't know what the key to getting a PG 10 boards with a reb rating of 1 is, though :)

PG had a 16 assist game so far already. Rest of the team has pretty good BH/PA numbers as well, so it kind of surprised me.

My point guard had a 10 assist game and I'm in one of my first seasons of HD. So I didn't think too much of it when I saw it other than hey pretty nice assist game. I guess I look at it more impressively now.

This guy put up big numbers on the regular. 2x NPOY, 2x scoring champ, big games like the one pictured often (along with two epic failures in a title game and a F4 loss!)

My PG just had his second double digit assist game in his first 9 games of the season. 21 points and 12 assists this time around after 12 points and 10 assists the first time.
