I foul down by four with one minute left. What do guys do?

In a game, against Topdog(smile), I am down 1 and I foul at 33 secs. Still can’t understand it.

i am sort of doubting that foul related to the end game settings? sometimes guys just foul really late in the game for really dumb reasons, and i think HD uh, perhaps over-covers that case :)

At 36 secs, he gets the rebound, it is 63-62. He is on hold ball mode, i am on int fouls. I foul at 33secs. Still think it’s a bug.

It would be really stupid if the game checked for the condition at the 1 minute mark and then left you in that mode for the rest of the game without ever rechecking the condition. But I could see that being the case, sadly.

Probably has to do with only having a 6 second difference between the shot and game clocks.

I agree with mrslam and think its beneficial for you to foul in that scenario, and it isn't even close. If they take a 3 with 6 seconds on the clock that ends up hitting the rim, you get a halfcourt shot for the win at best.

My guess is if you're losing with a less than 8 second difference or so it automatically fouls.

I would like to know the answer to this but six seconds, one time out, I think I defend and hope for the rebound. I am at -3 in these cases.

You must have more faith in WIS players' abilities to get the ball down the court quickly than I do...

ok i'm an idiot, i totally forgot it told you when you were intentionally fouling... sounds like mrslam is on the mark though!

How about winning and losing late settings? What has everyone had the most success with and what seems to work most consistently?

I agree as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if this game still uses the 35 second shot clock. Never really checked myself but when the game was built it was 35 I think.

Isn't the shot clock 35 seconds? No way they updated it when it changed in real life.
