haha....i gave him an invite...12 rounds worth of booda picks would have been enthralling

I would have loved to fit Nance somehow, but it would have meant shifting KD at least in part to SG which is not ideal. Thought I would have put myself too much behind the 8 ball on boards with a KD/Nance start. Agree with robusk that he lasted too long.

so since tomorrow is a holiday and apparently not acceptable to play fake gm all day, i did all my 3/4 research tonight...i love that sh!t...best part of the draft imo

since this is the savage league and all...how about division drafts?

20 owners submit a 1-23 rankings of the other teams to me...i break them up into 5 groups of 4 and do a division draft like i do in the 52

what do you guys think? it would be pretty cool to see 20 different owners rank the teams

That IS great news dh! Great job hooking up with admin! And congrats on a GREAT idea with this awesome challenge! Wish I had thought of it!

I personally would NOT be a fan of that. I don't do division drafts. Just don't have the time to dedicate to try to rate 23 other teams! I can barely rate my OWN team, and most times even then, they are overrated!

was basically torn between three guys. Well, four, but mostly 3. I'm building this team bass-ackwards from how I used to build draft league teams... I almost always went paint monster - boardlord - point guard in the first three rounds, and here I am through three rounds with out a paint monster or a board lord. Yikes.

The three guys were Brand, Nance, & Buck... who all went back to back to back. I would have been happy with any of the three but ultimately decided on Brand because of his top two seasons being ******* monsters. Slightly more usage than Nance also helped.

He has way lower tov% than I remember.

I probably still should have gone Nance but those top two seasons...

The concept, draft and chatter are all first rate. There's nothing better than a league with a lot of enthusiastic owners.

On divisions, my view is that leagues and divisions should be random. I think that is the fairest way to do it.

I would vote against a division draft of any kind. I think random is the way to go, though would agree that we should try to make it so everyone is in a division with everyone else at some point, if possible. Mathematically it should work out - everyone will have a total of 25 division opponents across five leagues - but I don't have the expertise to create a randomization model that would do it successfully.
