Maybe I am a little biased because I try to build my teams around efficiency, but it sure seems like a lot of owners current approach to drafting is that we don't have to worry about threes, fouls or turnovers anymore.
Yeah, I've started wondering if things have changed well beyond my recognition. Hoping that they haven't!

Why’d you guys take all the good players? :(

Mullin is the first pick I've made that I'm really nervous about. He's one of those midrange-heavy scorers who just never quite seems to fit the way he should. But I do think he gets a boost in this format because he has a lot of usable seasons with a variety of usage levels (pretty much all in tier 3/4). He has some seasons that can help back up Durant if needed, and others that fit well alongside him. He doesn't hurt on D, fouls, or turnovers, but I'm probably going to need to find some wing defense later on. If I really get cold feet about him, I can just plug in pretty much all of his late 90s seasons as excellent lower-usage backups.

The obvious hole on my roster now is PG. I wanted Kyrie, but knew when I picked Lucas the chances of Kyrie making it back were slim to none. (He was, once again, the perfect fit for kinoa's team, and wouldn't have made it past 24kpyrite anyway.) It's gonna be brutal watching my PG board get shredded over the next 35 picks, but the good news is I should have enough assists from Mullin, Durant, and Lucas to have some flexibility in who I pick there.

I wanted Pierce, but since he went I figured I'd get a good role player in Barry. There are a couple high-Usg guys I like left, pretty sure one will make it to me.

just great. I finally get to my pick. the guy I've had my eye on the whole time is still available, and now I'm wondering why he's still available and second guessing myself. Is this what it feels like to be robusk?

this is how we do it!

Like me, you're hurting for guards, but I like the pick. Even with only four seasons Capela went about a round too late, IMO. I thought about him when I picked Lucas but thought I needed more minutes and assists than Capela could give me.

maybe those owners who are required to rest a player(s) for the season should all draft the same low salary player and put him on rest. that way we won't be tempted to "forget" to rest one of the players we actually drafted. any suggestions who the scrub should be?

oh yea... it's going to be point guard by committee for me

Starting to feel the crunch from some of my guys not having 5 good seasons, but Harden/?/Donyell/Mourning/Gobert seems like a squad!

I have a feeling that there will be a lot of wins decided simply from figuring out which versions of your players to place on which team...not sure if putting the best version of all of my guys on the same squad is the best idea...

I think this is actually a really good idea - it would also help people legitimately not forget which team the guys are supposed to be resting on (or from gaming the system by waiting to see how divisions/leagues before announcing which team they're resting on).

I think there should be a few 239 K "placeholders" available to everyone, and not put "illegal " players on a team where they are not allowed to be in the lineup.
