The Post War League started with the 1946 season. We will soon be entering the 1991 season, our 46th season. This is a very stable 16 team league. 6 owners have been in the league for all 46 seasons (one of whom has had 2 teams for the last 40 seasons) and 2 other owners were in the league for 34 seasons but dropped at the time of the transition from WIS to SportsHub. The departing owner has been in the league for 10 seasons.

This is a 16 team league and since there were 26 major league teams in 1991 there is no shortage of players. The DH was adopted for both leagues starting in 1973.

Interested owners will be given immediate access to the league private forum, which contains complete league rules.

The season ends on June 10 and we will start the 1991 draft on or about June 11.

The team available is the New York Metros (the name can be changed). The Metros are currently 2nd in the NL East Division, with a record of 67-50.

The team is pretty strong at catcher and the infield, needs some power in the outfield. The ace of the pitching staff Is obviously Roger Clemens, the relief staff of Dibble, McDowell and Assenmacher is pretty good, but the starting rotation needs some help.
