“Some might think you're hurting a bit on offensive boards”
- Lean in and I will tell you a secret.

I have never paid attention to offensive boards when assembling a team. I don’t care about them. Shhhh.
My favorite Emily Dickinson
I didn't know Emily Dickinson played WISNBA!
Was a big Bob Cousy fan. Several mentions of White Magic in her work in reference to his game.

10. dskantor - Moses Malone, Paul George, Pau Gasol, Derek Harper, Rasheed Wallace - Sheed's an interesting cat. Solid defense+usg+efg. Threes. Decent boards at SF where he can effectively play during most of his seasons as well as good tov%. In a single season draft, he might not stand out, but in this format, I think he's a solid ******* pick in the fifth.

11. pexetera - Charles Barkley, Shawn Kemp, Andrei Kirilenko, Clint Capela, Alvin Robertson - more boards, more defense, nice! More fouls & turnovers, too. It's almost like you intend to prove that you can win with no threes and just a ridiculous number of turnovers & fouls. I admire it. Alvin's one of my all-time favorite players by the way; dude was a ******* nutcase! Absolutely smothering D.

that is brutal....did not see joe ingles going before my pick

he teams up with brent barry for a pretty lethal combo of lower usg bomber efg insanity with good dimes and decent boards too

The way I see it, all the high-Usg gunners were gone, so I'm not going to scare people by 3pt volume, but by quality. If I get one more 3pt specialist I should be gtg.

you definitely made the right call picking him now and waiting on the pg

curious to see who you and tarheel take...some interesting options

Ingles and Barry both have plenty of PG eligible seasons, I would just use them as the co-PGs.

Welp...the sins of not picking a PG last round have come home to roost. Now I'm doing some harebrained thing where LIllard takes shots away from Durant. I have a plan but I can't promise it's a good one.

That's the plan for Ingles' 2 high-minute seasons, but I'm still on the look for a PG. There are a few I have in mind, depends on who goes between now and my next pick.

That's my favorite player and I had him as a in case of emergency, break glass option.

My team is going to prove once and for all how important it is to have a lot of guys with really high free throw percentages!

Mason was the guy I was gonna go with if Paul Silas wasn't there. Better efg & ast but worse defense & rebounding, and I needed the latter more than the former. Still ridiculous that he fell that far.

Joe Ingles was another one of those modern dudes I forgot existed. I haven't looked at Lillard yet, but I'm guessing he's another one that has improved (sim wise) over the past few seasons.

Boozer was a great pick! I was itching to draft him even though I didn’t need him, just because he was probably the best player available for a while now.
5/27/2020 11:42 PM
Boozer & Dalembert were almost my 4/5 picks on the turn. Didn’t need Booze’s usg but almost couldn’t resist. And of course, the defense. So I went with inferior boards, better tov%, and better defense. Time will tell if I made a mistake.

Thanks for not ripping into me too much for the Gervin pick Ash! I really like it, but you are right that his rebounding is poor for the SF position, but yes, I do have enough rebounding from Rondo to/Duncan/Mutombo to make up for it.

I just felt that the USG% and FG% Gervin gives me was better than Gerald Wallace and the D was not a huge dropoff. With Duncan & Mutombo down low, Ray Allen on the perimeter, Gervin was the perfect complement to both in the mid range. There is a specific SF I have my eyes on to back Gervin up, but we'll see if anyone else has the same idea and screws me.

if boozer was still there I would have taken him on one or the sides of the turn
