Hi all, just wanted to relay some truly happy news: WardoYT has been permanently banned from posting.

I just couldn't take the completely unfunny trolling in every single thread anymore. So I put in a ticket. I can appreciate a good troll and it's my understanding the old Wardo was actually funny -- but this new guy was just constantly disrupting serious discussions on the forum and as a newer player it was incredibly distracting. And, I can't stress this enough, it wasn't even funny.

I showcased about 6 diff threads where Wardo was doing his schtick and this is the response I got from WIS: "Thanks. I went ahead and permanently banned them from posting. Thanks for playing on WhatIfSports."

Well done. That man was an imposter and embarrassment to the Wardo name for too long.

I muted him not too long ago so I couldn't see his posts. When I made my way back to HD, it was confusing at first to read the nonsense. It had me thinking if I was just not understanding something about the game. Luckily I knew to look at his coaching profile and realized I didn't want his coaching input, however new players may not think to do that and try to learn from his rants.

Agreed, it's just annoying to me at this point, but when I first started it was confusing. Most importantly, I realized that I had never seen a single person say "Hey, yknow what, that was a funny post!" in regards to one of his ramblings. Not once.

He's been sitemailing me threats which is super funny. I'm 100% sure he'll come back with another troll account but for now this forum is decidedly Wardo free.

Thanks very much! Great community is one of the strengths of HD. Gotta weed out the few bad apples.

Thanks for bouncing him. Dude was absolutely NEVER FREAKIN FUNNY, and he kept going for two years probably. I mean, wow, he was so mind-blowingly not funny-- he wasn't once even funny by accident... do you realize how difficult that is to pull off?

I can't think of any good analogies. Maybe it would be like if Ray J. Johnson Jr had kept appearing in commercials and variety shows and late night talk shows continuously over the last 45 years. Sheesh, holy sh-t, just freakin go away.

It would've been funnier if each of his posts was that "Lorem ipsum dolor..." default paragraph repeated over and over.

hmmm... i still believe it was the original wardo. i dont think hes trying to be funny. but i know most others disagree with me.
if everyone else is right, and this was just some odd attempt at humor, then the dudes perseverance and dedication to stay in character was amazing.

I compared new account to old account posts. New account was trying too hard. Think new guy put in a good deal of time on each post trying to be as absurd as possible. Some posts weren’t bad.
