Some people don't know what a Mennonite is.

bad_luck might have been the original radical Liberal on this site. Lives in California (not that everyone there is a radical Liberal, but the % has got to be higher than most places). He often didn't play nice with others (not to rsp or bronx's degree), but he's been gone for a while, so maybe he's changed.
Lol. I know who bad-luck is. I was kidding.

I'm gonna object to the phrase "radical liberal"
I use the terms “radical left” and “radical right”, but I use it to describe the fringe. There is a major difference between a liberal and the far-left, just like there’s a big difference between a conservative and the alt-right. Politics is a spectrum.

Correct strikeout. It's funny because most on the real radical or far left advocate for the state to kill liberals. Not all of us fall in the same tent.
6/2/2020 5:43 PM
I actually identify more as a classical liberal than anything else.

WTH is tang objecting to me referring to someone else as anything? Does he think peiple can't reply on their own? From what I've seen of (the old) b_l, he might embrace being called a radical Liberal. The term doesn't say, or even imply that all Liberals are radical. I so wish he would simply block me, so he'd quit posting dumb*ss replies to my posts, that do absolutely nothing other than waste my time when someone reposts then.

lmao, he doesn't even know where the criticism is coming from. What a clown.

For all3, if anyone quotes this, radical liberalism isn't really a thing that we use to classify people politically. Liberalism just means that you support individual freedoms, rights, and equality. If you want to say that bad_luck is on the far-left, you would probably call him a socialist, social democrat, marxist, or other varying philosophies.

I'm making fun of you because you don't know what any of the terms you are using mean. The fact that you typed out an entire post without realizing this is laughable.

Socialism and Marxism are definitely far-left ideologies and are very dangerous philosophies. If you don’t believe me, ask the 100 million+ Soviets and Chinese from the 20th century that died under these philosophies.

Also, you are correct about your definition of liberalism, but neoliberals don’t abide by that philosophy anymore. The new left is becoming increasingly against freedoms and right. Some on the far-left are even willing to admit vocally. It’s interesting to me to think about. When I was a child, it was the right that wanted to ban Eminem because he was “offensive.” Now it’s the left wanting to be an our freedoms. I would love to delve deeper into the psychology behind the transference.

I'm not a socialist or a marxist, so I won't defend those ideologies. Yes, socialism is far-left.

The left is moving far away from neoliberalism. I'm certainly not a neoliberal. Most moderate republicans and democrats are; neoliberalism is still essentially the status quo.

Most would probably call you a neolib as well. Just saying.

WHY ARE WHITE LIBERAL DEMOCRATS BURNING DOWN BLACK COMMUNITIES?
6/2/2020 8:50 PM
Oops! Neoliberalism wasn’t the philosophy I was aiming for. My bad. You’re right. People are moving away from neoliberalism. My point still stands. My terminology was wrong.
6/2/2020 8:52 PM
yep. People in America are moving towards either a social democracy or a fascist dictatorship. Who we choose in 2020 and 2024 will probably solidify our fate.
6/2/2020 8:56 PM
I’m not seeing the fascist dictatorship. Please explain. Also, what AOC and the Bernie Bro’s support is not social democracy if that’s what you’re referring to. I apologize if it’s not.
6/2/2020 9:01 PM
To clarify, I don’t see the right (Trump admin) stripping any rights if that’s what you mean. All of the stripping of rights seems to be coming from the left.
