Hey man, just carved out some time to listen to this. I am extra busy at work, potty training a toddler, and also just got a puppy. So **** is crazy here on the homefront. This is really good man. I especially enjoyed Philly Twist. I like what you are doing. You have a regular set of musicians you are playing with or just gigging? Is this your full time gig? You are in NY now, whereabouts? What are you doing to stay funded during the down time?

Man, thank you so much, really appreciate it.

To answer your first question, I gig with five to six bands on a regular basis. I do some other freelance stuff to make ends meet.

Technically I'm in northern NJ.

As for your last question, well......I'll let you know when I figure that out!

So you guys going to drop some links to your YouTube or Soundcloud or anything where we can hear your stuff?
I wrote all of this (brought two horn players in and had them play what I wrote. I play bass on it. Treated all the instruments like samples and finished it on my sampler). It’s an older one but I’m proud of it bc it was released as a music video on Strange Music which is the biggest label in my city (KC) (and the biggest Indy label period) and is TechN9ne’s label. The rapper at the beginning says “deadBeat!” which is my alias (dB, a play of words on decibel). It’s a rap song but was made with 4 different horns and a bass and a few vinyl records.

The comic book **** was weird and I am pretty sure that dude is 5"4", but f*** man that was a nice track underneath. Between that and the other stuff you shared, you seem pretty talented. You should be doing more man. Are you actively doing any more track work?

Nice. When my dad "retired" in his late thirties and shifted to acting full time, he moved from Long Island to living on a boat in Newport, NJ which is like a subset of Jersey City on the waterfront. It was pretty nice. That and doing hood rat **** in Hoboken when I was a teen is the extent of my northern NJ experience.

Good luck man. I feel for artists among the other handful of other underpaid professions right now. If you drop a home recorded album or something I will sign up for one.
