THEY (are you one of them?) make the legit causes of the left unattainable and cause so much friction with the "right" that no enlightenment can be effectively shed on the myopic views of many on the right.

In other words, the agitation of those far outside the mainstream just HURTS the legit positions of well meaning liberal Americans.
Actions like trying to twist a simple Spanglish term (tonto) meaning fool into some term carrying racist implications against Indians somewhere.
Nevermind that the ONLY Indians intimately familiar with the word find honor and pride in the term as they feel it was the white-eyes who were the fools------wanting the People to give up their own way of life. THAT is foolish. The Tonto Apache take great pride in the white-eyes mistakenly calling them tonto.

I was maybe the biggest Colin K. supporter on this site. I loudly protested his quite obvious blacklisting from the NFL over his respectful and legitimate attempt to bring attention to an issue that has now exploded (again).
I did so on the basis of free speech and that HE had every right to express his views non-violently and use his position to garner attention and as an NFL QB the field (and the TV cameras) GAVE HIM that spotlight.

What was done to him (largely to appease the tonto in the WH) was Un-American and wrong of the NFL, every owner, and the Players union was wrong to NOT have loudly and strongly stood up for CK's right to express himself. They were all cowards for not doing so.

And NOW, we have a leftist doing the same freaking thing!!!! wanting someone silenced and banned from the league for his speech!
The irony would be delicious if it weren't so stupid and wrong.

In the UNITED STATES of AMERICA, NO ONE should be banned from their livelihood because of their expression of free speech.

We have a new left wing poster.
Prefers to be referred to as they/them I think I read.

Now. Reality is reality.
They/them was born of a certain (shall we say) persuasion.
Body parts of some specificity, more than likely.

Now this poster has every RIGHT to consider itself to be of any sort of persuasion they/them would like to think they is.
No problem here, this is the US of A. They has the right to believe what they/them wants to believe. About prett-near anything.

Now, I acknowledge there are some folks in some locales that might have some "issues" with they/them thinking certain things about folks religous views and what not, but for the most part, they/them's'll get left alone no matter what they believe unless they start trying to fuss and holler about forcing others to adopt they/them's beliefs. None the less. this is the US of A and I, for one citizen would never stand in the way of somebody's belief.

However, some folks "belief's" fly in the face of known science and basic reality.
For example. we used to have Whigs in this Country. I have no idea what they believed was reality, but they's all dead. And gone. Obviously, their beliefs didn't hold sway over many.

Now, the point I'm circling around and not making very well is that no matter what our new poster wants to believe they/them is. The FACT of the matter, when you get down to the Heart of the matter is what's in them/they's pants or panties. The "parts' would still have that same specificity as I mentioned earlier (way earlier!). Voila! That's the actual reality.

They/thems can believe any fool thing they want with impunity...............but that don't make it so, and the rest of us ain't required to believe it's so----------because there IS a reality. It's in thems pants/panties.
They's may not LIKE or accept the reality but that don't change a fricking thing and I don't have to accept their foolish notions.

Which BTW, the Apaches were not. They invaded the southwest just like us whiteeyes.

Well then. I have no freaking idea what an outdated word is. Please have your scholars and professors splain it to me.
And yes, I will admit that tonto is offensive. It is calling someone a fool. That IS meant as an offense.

It just has NO racial connotation at all.
The term was used (by WHITES) as an insult, but the Apaches called such knew who the real fools were and NOW wear the term proudly---------as PROOF of who the fools really were.

Nuts to that!! YOU are real. You can't claim to be spirit yet.
Your biological physique exists. That heart, those lungs, those kidneys, they are REAL!
You can't believe them away. You can't attain the purity of no "body" until this part of your life reality is over.

It isn't that there is NO Gender, No Biology any more than that there is only two sexualities.
There are (many believe) about 7 sexualities. Genders even If you prefer that term.

You can be indeterminate in belief IF you desire to be. You have that right. Nobody's complaining (well some might).
But, you can't be indeterminate in the physical. The parts have specificity. That's NOT your call.

Why would you fight it? Or encourage others to fight that determination that isn't theirs to make?
That makes for an unhealthy spirit and a confused mentality, doesn't it?
