One thing : Indiana, the state, never won in the Big Six. Some markets have won was it the coach or the configuration.
I think to make it more realistic, distance recruiting should cost the same for every recruit with a slight advantage with state players. Pref near home does that.
I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. Do I have something wrong in this thread as far as the data/info?
Re: the first sentence, zorzii is pointing out that no Big 6 school in the state of Indiana has won a title in 3.0:
Purdue, Notre Dame, and Indiana all have 0 titles. From what I can tell,
none of the D1 Indiana schools have titles in 3.0 (Ball State, Butler, Evansville, Indiana State, IUPUI, IPFW, Valparaiso).
There are D2 and D3 titles (including myself at DePauw in Greencastle, IN) but even those seem to be in short supply.
I can't help with the second sentence...though possibly slightly related, I do like the idea of "pipeline states" like what NCAA Football had where schools (or heck, why not coaches themselves?) have a slight boost when recruiting in particular states. It could help schools in more geographically challenged areas. If a coach at Hawaii signed a couple players from Texas and they had a lot of success there, it could be cool to see Hawaii generate a legitimate pipeline of talent from Texas by having a slight boost with Texas HSers.
