Imagine the many people who have lost a loved one over these past few months. What has made a tragic experience even worse is that, due to the pandemic, it was not possible to have a funeral to celebrate their loved one's life. Fast forward to now , there's still a pandemic raging but the media is busy celebrating the third straight day of a public remembrance/packed funeral service for George Floyd. Complete with many many more people than would probably have attended any private funeral. It makes me absolutely sick, this hypocrisy.

who is this media?
Is it not us?

Why are these "events" happening?
so publicly?
Is it really the "media's" fault?
Don't they broadcast what WE demand?

I dunno, I turned off my umbilical cord decades ago.

I think it’s a somewhat relevant question. Texas has been hammered the last couple of days with cases. I’m not taking a stance on whether the funeral should have been held or not, but I would wager that George Floyd would not have wanted people to die from COVID contracted at his funeral based on how his brother and other people have described him.

At this point, I have no reason to assume that guitarguy will defend his statements. I've tried to combat his arguments, but he just ignores them and repeats the same BS talking points. He'll probably do the same with the C-16 stuff.

That’s okay. I’ll take up his C16 argument. I feel like I have to defend the conservative view for a lot of the arguments on here that I don’t start. I guess I don’t have to, but I like the will power to resist.

I'm really interested to see what guitarguy's defense of C-16 would have been had you not intervened. I guarantee he had never actually read the bill or looked into it. Probably heard Jordan Peterson or Andy Ngo mention it and got outraged at all the trannys.
