My bad, did it while multitasking at work. I’ll fix it when I get home unless someone wants to use the post on pg 69 to write out the full order. Just remove duplicate numbers and you’ll have the randomized 1-24 and then just apply it to the matching names.

i can do it in about 45 though if not.

well...divisions are out...didnt quite turn out as i had hoped but i still think its better than random...maybe we can tweak it some more next time

just looking at my divisions...i have 11 owners twice, 3 once, and 9 not at all

thrilled to miss out on kinoa and ben...but sad to see ash and dbkc twice

Thanks dh, not only for the amazing concept but the hard work in organizing the draft, checking the teams, etc.

This draft was probably the most fun one I've been a part of on this site and I can't wait to see the results.

just some random notes from when i was checking the teams...keep in mind im saying these things with no real knowledge about what you needed from each players seasons

gerryred - i can definitely see why you passed on it, but 93-94 drob is a super fun season...no other drob has that usg% and ast%...ive used it a few times and he always crushes on ftas

samuelyork93 - no 94-95 drexler? this was the 2nd biggest shock to me - i think its his best season...and no 99-00 bo outlaw either? thats the best one imo

mptrey - i kinda thought the amazing 11-12 manu might slip in as a super backup but his other seasons were probably just too good to pass on...its lower mins but im a lil surprised 05-06 didnt make the cut

jhsukow - i was gonna get on you about using 15-16 davis over 18-19 but you made a wise(i think?) last second switch

dskantor - i still think 09-10 is the best pau gasol...might be in the minority on that one tho, but im still surprised you didnt use it

longtallbrad - no bulls rodman or the 94-95 beast?....looks like hes gonna be playing sf in 4 of the 5...nice to have that kind of versatility from your 1st rounder

20ks - i know ash and others love 07-08 but itd be tough for me to pass up a full min kg...especially when his 49% efg wont hurt as much as normal draft leagues

goetz93 - i always read your name as go ertz btw(big eagles fan)...no 06-07 kidd and that 20% dreb? 02-03 and that 26% usg is a tough pill to swallow

pexetera - of all the 1st rounders i think i was most curious about what barkley seasons would be used...personally i would have went with 90-91 but i know you like the high defense, so im not too surprised about the seasons you chose

pharrop - 90-91 bird was the 3rd biggest shock to me...82-83 or 89-90 seem like better options

ysw128 - im guessing you passed on 13-14 drummond because of the lower usg, but id be awfully tempted to use it with 05-06 kobe

24kpyrite - i had to triple check to make sure i wasnt making a mistake..."did he really not use 96-97 mason?!?" thats his best season! its also one of my personal favorites so maybe im a bit biased..but im still shocked...im guessing you couldnt fit him in at pf and didnt want to play him(96%) at sf...also pretty surprised you didnt use 07-08 cp3...that was one of my favs before 14-15 came out

looks like I avoid kinoa. I'm sure there are others I avoid, but his teams were the ones I feared the most. I also don't like my matchup with Ben, who I only got once.

How many of you put your teams in 1-2-3-4-5 corresponding to your perception of their strength? IE how many of you put the team you thought was best in league #1, worst in league #5, and so on between (or vice versa)?

ohhhh i fuuuucked up big time there...i had every intention of mixing mine up but i was rushing when i created the league numbers and just blindly put them in 1-5...didnt fully realize what i did until after i sent the league#s out...whoops

not even sure if its the order of my best teams but it is 1-5 on the kareems i chose first(71-72 is 1, 70-71 is 2 etc)

does anyone remember the league i started years ago called the OCP?

the OCP(owners choice progressive) was the forefather of this league...im a little hazy on all the details now but basically it was a 5 year progressive where you chose which seasons of your players you used next...a flawed idea for sure...98average burned through 91-92 rodman and his other best seasons in year 1 and then quit the league like the ******* he was(do kinda miss him tho - he would have joined this league for sure)...the league folded shortly after...but its memory was what led to this league

Yeah, Chuck would be a difficult one to decide which ones to use because he has so many great ones.

87-88 & 89-90 are no complete no brainers.
88-89 is pretty much, too.. just sliiiiiiightly behind those two.

So that's three seasons right there that are pretty much locked in.

86-87 has better D, the same great offense, best overall boards... but high fouls & turnovers. Still, pretty hard to say no to.
85-86 has actual really good defense, same great boards (better drb%), solid offense, but highest fouls & turnovers. Still really good, though.
92-93 has lower efg% than the others but has the best defensive boards, tov% (well except for the 94-95 season which wouldn't be used), ast% and is probably the least overall negatives. Probably take this over 85-86 & lock in with 86-87.

90-91 is my favorite to use in cap constraints. Lower def + drb (though 2nd best tov%!) might scare me away in this setting. It wouldn't if the other seasons didn't exist, though.

91-92 is a better season than 98% of the other players even have available and wouldn't garner serious consideration just because of how good every Sixer season (other than his rookie) is. Honestly, you could have two separate Barkleys (80s & 90s versions, or Sixers vs Suns/Rockets) and have two first round worthy guys.

I don't remember that, but I probably just didn't do it b/c of who you said was in it. I remember wanting to do something similar to this league that was actually like what you're describing, but there were issues I couldn't help but see as potentially league killing - like an owner doing what you describe.

I think my teams are reasonably even, all things considered, but I did rank them and put them in kind of randomly because I guessed several owners would do the 1-2-3-4-5 thing.

I did originally put all of my best player seasons (of the starters) in one league and work from there, but I got better distribution of stats by spreading them out a little differently. I went from having one team with 101 usage and another 116 to having all five be in the 107-110 range. When it came to the bench, I originally did the same thing, but figured I'd get more mileage out of my best bench seasons by spreading them out.

All told, I probably spent at least 24 hours tweaking the teams & lineups after the draft was over.

Hoping for 250+ wins. Could be a pipe dream. The Cream is the team I think has the best chance to win it all because, you know, the cream will RIIIIIIIIIIIIISE to the top! Ooooooh Yeeeeee-aaaaaah!!

I took a long look at 90-91 barkley, and initially built a team around him and was going to use him. 90-91 is better than 85-86 pound for pound. but 90-91 plays 6 mpg less than 85-86 barkley. and ultimately I just didn't want to lose 6 mpg of my first round pick.

I spread my players top 4 seasons evenly across 4 teams to create 4 strong teams "gold", "juno" "sword" and "utah"... and then put all my players 5th best seasons in team 5 "omaha". omaha was the bloodiest beach, after all.
