Twitter's logo is a bird named Larry which is bird number one. Larry Bird is who the logo was named after he is bird number two. The co-founder of twitter and the one who created the logo is Biz Stone who is obviously the one stone. So I am guessing that the person is Biz Stone?

Not Biz Stone, not Larry Bird either.

I'm getting creative here but hear me out...

Brook Lopez

He and his brother Robin both went to Stanford - that makes them each 1 Cardinal. Together they are 2 birds. At present, on the Milwaukee Bucks, there is Sterling Brown. Sterling = Silver = Stone? That's two birds, one stone.

The reason I pick Brook is that he was drafted by the Nets back in '08 and was separated from his brother making him 1 bird...in his second season with the team they dropped 70 games (finishing 12-70). You could say the team hit rock bottom that year and at rock bottom there are a whole lotta stones?

Sue Bird and Chris Anderson (Birdman)

Two birds, one stone.
They are the two birds, with one connection being the Nuggets?

One bird, too many stones.
Sue is the one bird because it is in her name, and the Nuggets are the many stones?

Reading the guessing what I’d say is that a lot of these would work pretty well for “multiple stones” but I cannot figure out the “too many stones” part. Stumped so far.

Still searching for the correct answer.

Great guesses so far!

Scott Jr and Sean May?

Two birds (Maybird is a songbird), one stone (rings)
Scott Jr played for Indiana for the 2002 Title but lost to Maryland. Sean would play for North Carolina and would win the 2004 Championship.

One bird, too many stones (weight)
Sean spent most of his NBA career battling injuries and the 300lb mark. He was waived several times due to weight concerns

i have no idea wtf you guys are talking about and my brain does not compute word based puzzles. it does sound pretty cool though. i suppose i'll hazard a guess - dennis rodman - because i'm pretty sure the answer has to be a basketball player, and he was a basketball player. also because of the repeated use of the word 'stone', and i'd wager rodman got stoned?

Gotta admit I don't think this is right but I think it's the closest I've heard to something that accurately reflects the "too many stones" piece. Just not sure we're using European weight measurements around here?

i spent some time googling for a famous basketball player who had an extra... 'stone', as in, 3 (i presume). this was not a very productive line of inquiry, although i did find some interesting articles about some relatively horrifying injuries.
