Yeah, I'm not using Silver King, either. I've got Ed Seward (the current record holder for wins, by the way).

After 28 games Seward is 15-1, on pace for 86 wins. I think he's got an outside shot at 80, but who knows.

Jinxed Seward with this post. He's dropped off in the past 15 games, now has 19 wins in 43 games, on pace for 71.5 wins....

Back on track with this attempt, since Seward has notched W's in 19 straight appearances. Thru 96 games he's 48-5, on pace for 81 wins.

And oh yeah, his ERA is 1.70 in 329 innings. In his Performance History, his best ERA in 30 seasons is 2.34.

Seward had a mini slump after I posted the above (of course), earning only 5 W's in 10 games after ringing up wins in 20 straight appearances. But he got back on track with 5 straight W's, and now sits with 59 wins at the 120 game mark, a 79.6 win pace. Since he's slightly underused (appeared in about 65% of games -- 70% is the goal), he'll get a few extra games in down the stretch. Hate to jinx myself further, but I think he's going to set the record.

Mind if I ask why you like Seward over Lady Baldwin? At first glance, Baldwin seems to have the better stats and the only thing I see is Baldwin's HR/9 is a little worse, but he's still solid in that area.

Yeah, it's more or less a toss up between them, with the edge IMO going to Seward for the HR/9 and slightly better IP/G.

Ed Seward just notched #80 in the pm2 cycle.

9 games left in the season, and he'll be appearing in probably all of them, so we'll see if we can raise that number to 85+.

Absolutely amazing! Mind is blown. Great job, and even better, looks like it might become the best season on his PH, too!

OK, since the Crazy Professor got 80 wins, that means my combo of Seward (tracking for 46 at the 87 game mark) and Ferguson (tracking for 48) have no shot at a bounty now for a 50-50?
