i debated him vs Howard Johnson heavily...nice pick
Ran into Hojo outside of Wrigley Field in 1992. Lived a few blocks from Wrigley that summer. Was walking to 7-11 as the Mets were boarding their team bus. It was horribly hot and humid. Mets had just been swept in a series by the Cubs. There was a group of maybe 20 autograph seekers. The entire Met team ignored the fans and got straight on the bus. Except for Hojo. He was sweating, dressed in a suit and tie with a cast on his arm. Was on the DL at the time. He stopped to sign every autograph and talk to each fan. I was standing behind the crowd watching. He called me over after they disperesed. Didn't have anything for him to sign, just wished him luck.

We already have 13 votes in favor of staying on the clock on weekends, so the majority will rule there.

We were supposed to start 2-rounds-per-day with Round 9, but I don't want to start that on a Sunday, so we'll wait until Round 11 to go two-per-day.

Here's the upcoming schedule:
WED 7/1: 5th Round (almost finished ahead of schedule)
THU 7/2: 6th Round
FRI 7/3: 7th Round
SAT 7/4: 8th Round
SUN 7/5: 9th Round
MON 7/6: 10th Round
----------STARTING TWO ROUNDS PER DAY----------
TUE 7/7: 11th AND 12th Rounds
WED 7/8: 13th AND 14th Rounds
THU 7/9: 15th AND 16th Rounds (starting with the 16th Round, you will make TWO picks (at the same time) per round)
FRI 7/10: 17th AND 18th Rounds
SAT 7/11: 19th AND 20th Rounds
SUN 7/12: Supplemental Round (1993+ for TOR/SEA/ARI/COL/TB/FLA)

When mllama54 picked at 7:30 tonight, I thought it might get back to me in round 6. Doesn't look like it now. Will check back in the morning.

Rules for going on the clock:

- You must wait until your time slot to pick if the owner directly ahead of you has NOT made their pick.
- You CAN pick ahead of schedule once the owner directly ahead of you has made their pick, EVEN IF THERE'S A MISSED PICK BEFORE THEN.
- An invalid pick will be treated as a missed pick. I will try to update the board as often as possible, but it is ultimately on you to ensure it is a valid pick.
- Please use proxies by sending to the two to three owners directly AFTER your pick (you can also send to me) and, preferably, posting in the forum that you have sent proxies (this helps just in case the owners after you also miss their time slot, so you don't get jumped).
- Proxies will be honored, so if I have to, in the unlikely case someone forgets to post a valid proxy for someone else, I will unwind the draft.

Remember, on missed picks:
- You can make them up at any time.
- If a pick is still missing by 9:00 am ET (for rounds scheduled to start at 10:00 am) or by 4:00 pm ET (for evening rounds during two-a-days), the $10m penalty per missed pick will apply.
- Once you make up your pick, the penalty will go away for future rounds.
