to have them in. Couple ideas on how we figure out matchups I have are Overall Most Wins all time for each team or overall ratings currently for each team. I’m open to suggestions

I am glad to see that the A-10 is starting to finally catch other conferences attention. Personally I don't normally accept these conference challenges because no one is ever willing to play "The Island" on a neutral court.... I have no reason why that is.... ;) But in this case I think I am willing to make an exception and participate if we set it up a certain way. I also think the majority of the A10 would be willing to do so as well. Here is my proposal:

1. We select a week between weeks 7-9 and make that week an annual ACC/A10 challenge week.
2. Teams are selected to play each other based on this coming season's final RPI ratings.The teams closest to each other in each conference are selected to play each other.
3. By accepting to play in this challenge, every team commits to participating for 2 seasons.
4. In those 2 seasons, the teams paired against each other have a home and home match-up series for those 2 years.
5. After 2 seasons, the A-10 and ACC can discuss if they would like to renew the challenge and select new teams to play against each other for the next 2 seasons.
6. And lastly, when the A-10 wins the challenge most years, the ACC cannot back out of the agreement, because that would just be a whiny lil B move. And no one wants you guys to have that kind of a label for the whole conference!

I offer to do a short write-up/article on the results each year if we can get a majority of teams in each conference to participate just for a little extra zing! And u can ask the A10 coaches, these types of write-ups are worth the read because I do not hold back and will crush A-10 and ACC teams/coaches alike!

About #2: I think we should have 1-3 people look at each participating teams' rosters and rank them. Then we will have #1 projected A10 play #1 projected ACC and so on. I don't think using previous year's RPI is a great indicator on who is projected to be good next year since many players on good teams will be graduating or going to the NBA.

In saying that, I have no interest in being one of the evaluators, but if someone(s) is willing to take on that role I think it would be ideal.

RPI is as accurate a scale as we have. You’re not loving it bc your gonna be good this year and lose butt loads of talent to the NBA after this year. But we aren’t gonna have a committee to “rank teams”. Just use the numbers we have. Odds are u suck next year, but your opponent may the next year. Plus it’s 1 game a year. Take your L like a man! That’s what a man would do!

2. I don't agree with, it's one game, waiting the whole season to schedule, gives a shorter window to schedule, I'm fine with a ranking system, just want something easy (kinda like a win over the brokeman)

ACC Georgia Tech, Maryland, Duke, Boston College, North Carolina, Clemson, Miami and Wake Forest
A10 Rhode Island, St. Louis, Charlotte, St. Bonaventure, Dayton and La Salle

I meant it’s one game within the season. As in, if you lose, it’s just one loss. Robertoo was trying to change it up bc he’s gonna lose a lot of talent this year and next.

And I’m fine with whoever I play so idc how you guys rank em. Just thought RPI was a good number to use. But I see where u are coming from when u say scheduling late is tough. But wouldn’t be if everyone committed, to say, week 7 and leaving week 7 open for the ACC/A10 matchup. But either way is fine. I wanna play the best anyway. I play Seton Hall week 10 every year...

I was talking to Renato today and in his very broken English he said he was glad he didn't sign with you or UNC. His brother Porfirio said he almost went to Xavier, but he's glad he didn't since thunderdong bailed on XU. Filip Mostovoi overheard the Russo bros and he said that he almost made the mistake of going to Miami. Which reminds me that the other night when Roger Stemple got drafted he said he was glad he didn't sign with NC State or Richmond.

Ok ACC has 4 teams in so far, as far as matchups if we do it by manually ranking teams, a fair way to do it IMO is someone from the A10 ranks the ACC and someone from the ACC ranks your conference
