Quick Drafts: 1976 Draft - Completed Topic

Single Season Draft Theme
This is a simple theme. When you sign up, select which single season you want to select your roster from. The choices range from 1960 through 2019. There will 4 owners per season and those four owners will hold their own draft to select their players. The first round's draft order will be randomly determined. In order to offset the luck involved with getting the top pick (and often the most expensive player), each successive round will be based on reverse order of cumulative team salary. That means for players with a combined/partial version, you need to choose which version of the player you are using at the time you draft him. You can always change to a lower salary after the draft, but you cannot change to a higher salary.

On each pick, you should list the player, his salary and your team's cumulative salary so the next round's draft order can easily be determined. (I will not be administering each draft - somebody from your draft group should post the order of the next round once it's determined).

This will be a 26-round draft. The four owners will each draft a unique ballpark. Ballparks with similar dimensions that simply changed their name are considered the same park. Ballparks will add $2,000,000 to your salary calculation for purposes of draft order.

I will ask a non-participant to randomize the round 1 draft order. Once he posts it here, the draft can begin.

When making your selection, please post the player, his salary and your team's cumulative salary after each pick. At the end of each round, please list the round # and the next round's draft order. Remember to site-mail the next person up to keep things moving. If you are going to be offline let people know. If you are drafting late at night and are going to sleep, let people know.
