I really like the KD/Dr J. pairing - very complementary w Doc's O board contributions out of the 2 and KD's treys out of the 3 off setting each other's weaknesses

Seems like a lot of fouls/turnovers (that's my main gripe with Buck in particular, and why I took Ho Grant over him) but I am sure you'll find a way to make it work.

SUPER D....kinda reminds me of my team last season: Paul, Oladipo, SF/PF/C (cant name any of em cuz they haven't been drafted yet, but all three not listed were 90 D playuers)

Barely finished above .500, as for some reason, despite having zero players on my roster under 68 D rating, and five 90+ starters, the teams defense wasn't nearly as dominating as I thought it would be. Oladipo has good usage, but at around 30 MPG, I always found myself wanting more from him. He was very inconsistent for me too. 30+ pts one game, then 9 pts on 3-13 shooting the next. I hope with Sir Chas, that doesn't come as as much of a problem for you, but you better get a pretty high usage guy with your 6th man.

I’m actually going with a low usage version of Buck who has pretty minimal TOs...the fouls are still there though, unfortunately.

Keeping it simple and doing a starting lineup with a weighted 56.52 eFG% with 4 90+ defenders and good rebounding.

Weird, I wonder what happened? I think part of a good D is making sure you rebound the shots you make them miss. If you force a miss and they grab the offensive board and put it back then the D kinda went to waste. How was your rebounding?

I love Oladip though. My first title in the league had him and Barkley.

somewhere in the FAQs (or maybe in some thread) I believe it was stated that ORBs give you a little fg boost - I'm too lazy to find it but/and/or so if you are not pulling down the misses you can wind up boosting opp fg - allegedly

That is why my teams fail.

My predraft ritual is to try and plan my first three picks. I had targeted Zo as my 3rd round pick at 60 overall. Zo has had a predictable window for quite some time, and then something happened. From season 62 to 67 he has gone 63,65,63,67,64,66. Then in season 68, he goes 38. This season he just went 87.

I dont know why The Glide doesnt go earlier - there is so much to like and so little to hate - the 94-95 (trade) season is actually pretty sweet

is it just the slightly meh efg?

I'm with you on this. I suspect it's that he's been passed by the likes of Oladipo, George, Jrue and Bledsoe. All four play better defense and I believe make more threes or threes per minute. his eFG% is meh and his defense isn't quite the caliber but his OReb% for a wing is fantastic, his passing is great, he doesn't turn the ball over much and you can possibly get away with playing him at either wing position if you want to cram more 3s. (his TS% is meh).

I did consider the backup season with the 56.3 eFG% but I didn't get there in time

doesn't just apply to Clyde. a lot of 2nd to 4th round staples from four years ago are falling down or out of favor. no one would laugh at you four years ago if you took -Royals MVP triple double guy- in the 2nd. Zo was an early 2nd round pick (still should be higher than this), Clyde was an early 4th/possible 3rd, and baby Kawhi was like a third round pick or something. I'm pretty sure ben rostered a Deron/AD/Kawhi team in which he had two thirds and used one of them on 13-14 Kawhi. -Bullets combo forward- was an easy third round pick. The times, they are a-changin'

Glide's offensive position spread of 30-30-30 is kind of ideal too - you cant over play one way or another
