well, from the first game, first series, first week of the championships, i have hated every moment, and regretted my participation. i was roundly getting my *** kicked, but i committed to keeping fielders fresh and balancing pitch counts, not just bowing out and letting my guys flame out... low and behold, i now have 2 teams in the playoffs. i couldnt be more suprised.

80M Theme: 94-68 (best record for any team missing playoffs)
90M Theme: 94-68 (#2 seed, eliminated 3-1 in first round)
110M Theme: 88-74 (#2 seed, eliminated 3-0 in first round)
120M Theme: 90-72 (#3 seed, up 1-0 in second round)
140M Theme: 100-62 (#1 seed, eliminated 3-1 in first round)
180M Theme: 117-45 (#1 seed, eliminated 3-1 to elvisgump's 80-82 team)

We're currently at 7 playoff points. Will we even get to 10 points? ... I predicted my 117-win team would lose to the 80-82 team before the regular season ended despite my team going 12-0 vs elvisgump in the regular season. It would be hilarious if elvisgump's lone playoff team accumulated more bonus points than all five of my teams combined.

At least you have some hope. My 94-win team missing the playoffs was a huge blow.

I have two 96-win teams in, both #1 seeds. They were up 2-0 and 2-1. Both headed to Game 5. I full expect to lose both, because...well, WIS.

Can't believe Tommy Milone actually "outpitched" Addie Joss...my first thought reading that sentence was that your bullpen somehow allowed 7 late runs.

Yeah, that was a huge mistake on my part. I was messing around with my pitching staff and was distracted before correcting it. Forgot to go back and adjust. Caught it after the AM games and at least set him to 40 pitches max and a pull setting of 5. I always say it's better to be lucky than good. Milone did have 6 wins on the season...

In the 120M playoffs, my Joss has lost to both 79 Carlton and 83 Soto so far. He's got one more shot in Game 5 to win one.

My favorite team just got reverse swept in the 1st round

Just curious what the record is for the biggest WIS Championship playoff upset, in terms of win differential? Greater than 35 wins? Asking for a friend.

Well my $110M team this year (86-76) swept brianjw's (106-56) in the first round 3-0. I went 1-11 during the regular season.

I do see a 115W team just lose their first round matchup to a 80W team in my high-cap league just now though.... oh wait ... sorry

Suggestion for revised playoff bonus point system.

Making playoffs: 25 points for each playoff team
Playoff wins (teams with < 100 wins): 0.1 points per win
Playoff wins (teams with 100+ wins): 5 points per win (considered a rare event, so more points allocated)
