I would never intentionally besmirch ben, he is a legend and a great guy. His team is indeed stacked.

But let's not pretend he was playing four dimensional chess in this draft. Except for maybe Deron Williams (who I am not saying was the wrong pick), he took the most obvious person at every slot. The draft just played out perfectly for him and those of us hip to it were powerless to stop it.

I almost took him instead of Kyrie because this 19-20 season is just. So. Damn. Awesome.

It has been so amazing living here for the bulk of his career, being a season ticket holder and watching him grow into this. He is a great dude too. A lifelong basketball fan and this is the closest I’ve ever felt to a player. So many amazing playoff games and the bubble has just been such a showcase of how awesome he is.

I think the Bobby Jones pick was especially good. Based on where he went last draft, it was early, but Kinoa got arguably the biggest steal in the whole draft there. I wonder what things would have looked like had I gone Bobby J instead of Elton Brand last season.

The Danny Green thing is just exhausting to me. I know he doesn't have very many assists, but there are several guys who drafted big time assist point guards (Stockton, Kidd, Magic, Nash, cp3... those guys with consistent 30%+ ast% seasons) who should have taken a swing on him late round 3 / early round 4 IMO. I had him on my radar and would have taken him in round 4 if I had taken Draymond in round 3 like I almost did.

I just know that talent pool + ben's coaching = bad for the rest of us.

I know he thought he needed some assists but someone like Danny Green is who I would have liked to see bds9992 take instead of Cheeks.

I’ll be the fall guy for the Danny Green pick. I had a couple different concerns. Ultimately choose to gamble on more efficient usage and rebounding, albeit on significantly less minutes.

Ben’s got a great team but I don’t think it’s because of the Danny Green pick. I don’t think he’s that good in this format. The rest of his team however...

Perhaps this is why I'm only a pretty good owner in draft leagues, and not a great one but I think ben's team....still has some work to do? I mean things are shaping up very well, particularly for his top 2-3 teams. But I don't think it's better than kinoa's team was at the same stage last year. He's still got a lot of minutes to fill at a few positions. And I'm just not a huge fan of Artis, though I definitely agree his value goes up in this format.
