Been there... done that... Luckily, the regular season is what is used to determine the draft order of next round's teams, not playoff performance.

Of all people, I knew you would have the most empathy.

I was definitely more vocal in the WIS Championship, where playoff results have a huge impact. In round 1 of the juice's theme, I had three 100+ win teams suffer huge upsets to inferior teams. I posted something after the season in one of the forums, but in the grand scheme of things, it didn't really impact anything...

...other than reinforcing my annoyance that this constantly happens to the point where it's more of an upset if the 100+ win team actually does well in the playoffs.

Jtpsops can also feel your pain... he had one of his best teams ever-drafted when his 107-win team lost to an 86-win team in the first round of one of my Quick Drafts theme.

I'm sure we all forget when we are the beneficiaries of these things, though. Play enough and it has to average out.

In this tournament I entered 7 teams, and I'll still have 7 going into Round 3. But this round I only got 3 into the playoffs and the best one's out already. I'd at least like one WS team out of it all, but that's already dicey. Might not even get to an LCS.

I had twenty teams in Round Two - and only three of them made that particular league's post-season. However, all three of those have already made it through the first round. I'm probably jinxing them all right now by typing this but I have to have something to gloat about...

schwarze - congrats on your Yanks beating mine in the playoffs. You traded up to get 'em so good on you. The team I took in the other league of our trade is going to Game 5. Fingers crossed...

Not that I ask anyone to feel sorry for me, but having 20 teams in round 3 is a gift and a challenge. Given that juice has already communicated that this round of drafts will be delayed due to his absence, I am asking for forgiveness if I am slower than usual in some of these drafts. I will do my best to keep up.

No pressure from me in the least. The only one I was prepared to pick so far was the one I selected first, because I had to think about that for the initial draft piece. The rest of these are all still unknowns to me.
