For anyone who thought things dragged at times, the two with the longest times coincidentally pick back to back. Then, a few picks later, the 3rd, 5th and 6th slowest pick in three out of four spots.

For anyone who thought the draft had a nice pace, it looks as though depending on where we were at in the turn, you could have had 30 picks in a row with only three "slow" drafters.

Seems like things went about medium to me. I certainly am as prone as anyone to get annoyed about stuff, but like 65% of the fun of these types of leagues is the draft (for me at least). So I feel pretty good about how this one went. No need for it to go too fast.

That is me too. For someone who is terrible at multi-tasking, I find myself trying to do too much of it lately. Definitely got some pretty depressing heart to hearts from my wife.

It is all just a little too easy to "check in" when I am stuck at home full time.

Once teaching starts again I’ll be back to work, but for now I’m at home taking care of an infant. Wife’s at work during the day so I’m either changing diapers, feeding my daughter, or checking in on the draft.

Instead of protesting on the grounds of how busy I’ve been (I haven’t), I’d just like to appeal my pick time on account of the fact that my consecutive picks haven’t counted properly. I’m trying to win this, if nothing else.

I'll be honest, that sounds like so much fun to me. I am frequently jealous that my wife gets to be a full time mom. I try to go real hard on the dad stuff when I am not working. It is my favorite thing in the world.

It’s been pretty awesome. She’s got an incredible amount of personality for someone who isn’t even quite 5 months old.
