It’s all resume; 10 seasons prior.

So if you job hop, you can make a final four, take a season or two off, come back and use the cumulative seasons to beat out most teams for openings.

There obviously needs to be a greater impact for when a coach takes multiple seasons off and finds a contender to jump on for a single season.
the 10 seasons is resume strength not loyalty - i think - i am really asking about if your loyalty takes a hit after you leave a world and come back. my understanding was no, it does not. but it sounds like i may be mistaken.

“i think it was explained that shoe was on that recruit with d1 kansas and then dropped off, making it a quality and perhaps insightful scoop for the GCU coach. kinda sounded like that was probably legit, at least absent anything else being said on the subject.”

The other thing I will say about this is it sounded a little more suspicious to me when kolby was noted as the coach at Creighton (Jones was a Nebraska recruit). But then I looked, and he’s only been there 2 seasons. Creighton was sim controlled when Jones was recruited. Jones was a rather highly ranked national recruit, with some significant flaws that would keep a lot of human D1 coaches off of him (low starting defense, and ineligible). Perceptive lower division coaches would know that I am someone who routinely prepares quite a few contingency plans, and may adjust strategies accordingly when they see my name on the considering list of a target. That particular example doesn’t really concern me now, assuming there is not IP collusion evidence we can’t see, of course.

Based on my recent experience, you are correct.

If anything, as long as you take more than 1 season off, your loyalty improves rapidly during the time you're on sabattical, whether you return to the same school as before or not.

I raised the Jones example due to distance between GC and Nebraska.

Dude, I'm tellin ya its not hard to reach Nebraska from GCU.

If you're really this blood thirsty though let me help you out.

Le Moyne (NY) has a solid guard from Cali. Back to back final four appearances.

Sip on that ****.

Adams state (CO) has a solid guard from NY.

Its time to drain the swamp, this is what you wanted right??

CSULA (CA) has a player from NH

One single game, thats what my entire situation was about.

Here we have players that are potentially recruited illegally, which has a 120-130 game impact........

I'm going to give all 3 a chance to fully explain themselves.

You guys can thank sportsbulls for this later ;)

You guys colluded to throw a tournament game. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

All credibility is lost.****

Ok Mr. Credible, lets hear how someone from Louisiana got on that Santa Clara roster.

Not taking sides here, but the examples fluff cites above all have something in common - they were unranked while originally being recruited. For all we know, they could have been D2 recruits. I do, however, agree with him that recruiting Nebraska guys from GCU is quite reasonable. Lindsay, NE is just under 1,000 miles from Phoenix - definitely an Assistant Search target.

D1 is totally different. You have a GIANT budget.

Also, one or two players here and there, isn't ridiculous. An entire team of players on a D2 roster signed from Florida, Maine, Arizona and Washington would raise a red flag.

I will say I don't think that the fluff nasty roster is THAT big of a craziness. That roster is "possible". Just my personal opinion

You're right, D1 is different. You're off the hook.

Yeh as someone who often recruits from high distance in D2 (I’m in my 4th year at Bloomfield, New Jersey and have already signed 3 JUCOs from Cali, a guard from Nevada, and a big from Calgary—which is west Canada) I hope people don’t think that is suspicious ;)

I seriously could care less about you as a person or who you recruit or don’t recruit.

My issue now is someone being a big enough loser to feel the need to create another account to defend themselves when they’ve been asked to leave and the evidence has been shown that the game was thrown.

Take the hint

+1.

I looked at the players' origins on the thrown-game teams early on and didn't see anything worth discussing here.
