This is a half-baked idea I just had, but it seems like the right level of SAVAGE for me to bring it up. How about something along these lines to give a little reward to the reigning Champ: after the draft order is determined, but before the draft, (or when they make their 1st rd pick), the Champ gets to use their 12th rd pick then. They can't draft anyone taken in the rds 1-10 of the last draft, but guys that were drafted 11th/12th and all undrafted players are free game. The Champ then has no pick in the 12th rd.
This was a quick idea, open to adjustments. But this is the SAVAGE League. If you rise to the top you should get a SAVAGE reward. I know the winner gets $, which is very cool, but a reward that continues to pay a little in the next season would be hella SAVAGE. Hell, we could make it top-3 get to make their 12th rd pick early, maybe limited to guys drafted in the 12th rd/undrafted in prior draft. Even if it's not just like I laid out, a reward sounds cool. Or, everyone else might hate this idea, only I find it intriguing...
Anyone have any thoughts?

Round 3 coming and I will be somehow be at 4 home games and 11 road games. I feel like it is impossible to read anything about my level of disappointment until that evens out some.
