Much more likely to walk, but I have (rarely) seen them sign off that message.

I did this once in my second season. It's the only real use I've ever found for Range Factor. My pitchers were getting beat up and I asked a friend to analyze my team. He pointed out that my LF and RF had average range factors but the CF had the lowest Range Factor of any starting CF in the entire league. His fielding percentage was fine, he was just plain not getting to any batted balls; giving up extra hits.

You might be able to get away with it if you have a super groundball heavy staff

Only if he can hit .900 + ops. or be a stud leadoff hitter with .400 + obp

I'm playing this dude (79/91) in CF with a super GB-heavy (1.38:1) pitching staff and he's not exactly great (+0/-8) but not killing me either. His RF is at the bottom of the league but so are my LF and RF, so I think my staff probably has a lot to do with that.

Him resigning will depend on what his patience rating is...

If I add a guy to my playoff roster, will it start his service clock? If so, how much longer will I have to keep him down next season to get the extra year of service?

Playoff days do not count as service days.

I probably have played way too many seasons not to know the answers to these random questions:

1. is there a way to sort all active players in a given world? Like if I wanted to sort every SP in a world by overall rating.
2. What's the best way to see potential free agents that a world will have a year or two out? For instance, I need an SP in free agency, but I don't necessarily like the class this season. How can I see who will (or may) be available the following year, or the year after that?

1. World/Reports/Player Search will get you what you want if you limit yourself to certain position groups.
2. GM/Contracts/Free Agent Report, then change the season to the one you want.

Impressive, you don't see that often. Though I'm not sure I'd want him pitching 350+ innings per year.
