With the Astros qualifying for the postseason, manager Dusty Baker has become the first manager in MLB history to take five different teams to the postseason.

Now let’s see which good, young arms he ruins. Jose Urquidy or Cristian Javier

Baseball has too many racist conservatives in its ranks, is why dusty is not properly appreciated

Pinhead. I'm a conservative, and don't have it in for the guy. Why does race come into the equation? Stupid f'n argument...

Dusty and Ron Washington are good managers. For whatever reason they've come up short.

Dusty is a great manager, and is recognized for his greatness. He also has a track record of ruining arms of young pitchers - of which he’s also recognized

LaRussa had that stigma attached as well. I think most who manage a bunch of young arms are bound to have some go down. I don't think Bobby Cox was immune, although was widely praised for handling young pitchers...

The guy you're addressing is a conservative, too. It's a parody account. "Look how stupid progressives are" -- that sort of thing. Even has a horrible W-L record to really drive the point home, ha ha.

As a Cubs fan, I got to watch Dusty Baker for several years. I think he's great at handling a locker room, his players seem to love him everywhere he goes.

But when it comes to in-game strategy, especially in playoff games, he's not the greatest.

but he did hit a home run live

in my presence

in the pinch

in the 7th inning

in chavez ravine

in maybe my 22nd year

Worked for G1!

Maybe, just maybe, the pitching will hold up in the playoffs

Or going to the bullpen too early, and handing the game ball to the starting pitcher.

When the game isn't over yet.

In Game Six.

Yes, it still hurts.
