If a pitcher has a GB/FB rating of 93, what does that mean?

He gives up a lot of groundballs and few fly balls.

There is some difference of opinion as to whether this has any effect on anything other than outs-- that is, whether it decreases slugging percentage, or just turns flyouts into groundouts. It certainly increases the number of double plays a pitcher gets.

A question that has always confused me and have never really got an answer to - What are the Pitch 1-5 ratings for? How do they affect the pitcher and when does a #5 pitch come into play and if a pitcher does not have a # 5 pitch does the 0 come into play? Do you evaluate the total of all pitch ratings or look at them individually. What if you have a pitcher with a higher #3 pitch than #2 pitch (which seems a little illogical, but I have such a pitcher.)

Definitely look at them individually.
I read somewhere here that the Catcher pitch calling stat is important in this also.

That's what I would think, but I've got a RP with a 93 GB rating and solids splits 77/81 who has given up 7 HR's in 15 innings. He literally cannot take the mound without giving up a HR. It's baffling.

I'm not an expert on this, but from my experience:

GB/FB is very important
Velocity is not important at all. I don't even look at that.
Vs RhB HAS to be above 50. Above 60 is what I look for.
Vs LhB could be between 45 and 50 if all other ratings are very good.
I generally play in pitchers' parks, so I hate to walk guys. Control is important.
P1-P5 ratings are all relevant depending on what those other ratings are. If your RhB and RlB splits are not that great, the individual pitch ratings can make up for it. But I always want pitch ratings above 50.... unless it's 0. A pitch rating of 0 gets ignored.
I'm of the opinion that if you have a P3 rating higher than your P2 rating, your catcher's pitch call rating will have some impact on your pitcher's effectiveness.
A 0 rating for a P1-P5 gets ignored. BUT....if your pitcher has a pitch rating below 50, it will be a net negative.
Most people focus on the RhB and LhB splits too much, giving me opportunities to pick up good FA pitchers late.

Nashville is a hitter's park, so get used to your pitchers giving up a lot of hits and runs. Other than that, 15 innings....? Small sample size. Give him space, he looks like a good pitcher. It might also be about your infield defense, which I didn't look at.
