what about a bounty to whomever gets to 100 wins the FASTEST in an OL? Every time I've won 110+, I rack up a ton of wins at the end of the season when teams are crushed by fatigue or people stop managing their teams. It's also harder to rack up the wins early on because you have to manage your own fatigue. I'd be really impressed if someone could start like 100-35 or something.

They’re really fun. I’ve realized it’s a great way to spend proportionally more on offense without your relatively weak pitching getting crushed. I feel like there’s a price floor for hitting or defense, but it seems at higher prices you can manage to get both without paying a double premium. Yet another way to hack the system!

This team was all about the bounty, so this next one will absolutely mash and hopefully get some similar results out of the same pitching. For instance I’m ditching Babe Pinelli, who was outrageous at 3b but only hit .290 with 2 homers, for the A+ range Foxx.

Wanted to join the fun and put in my team (Grand Theft Motto) to go after the Stolen Base bounty. After starting 0-7, my team made a furious rally leading up to and after the all-star break, ripping off 26 wins in 30 games, and am currently sitting at 69-47 (.595), which paces us for ~96 wins.

On the SB front, we are currently sitting with 717 SB and 140 CS, for 577 net - which puts us on pace for about 805 net by season's end. So currently on pace to hit the win threshold and break the standing mark, but still a lot of baseball to be played. Just need to go 21-25 over the last 46 games, but my team is more than capable of reeling off a string of losses.

Just finishing my second SB team, and this one outdid the first: 107-55, and 741 net SB (1045-304). So for now, we will hold on to our claim for the SB bounty.

SimBaseball Bounty Three -- The One About Stolen Bases:

This bounty is a little different, it's not going to be awarded to the first to achieve something, but the one who reaches the highest score between now and the end of the year (with games ending on 12/31/20 PM2 cycle). This one will be a guaranteed winner to the one who achieves the most net stolen bases (stolen bases minus caught stealing) as a team during this time frame for a team that wins at least 90 games.

I'll keep a tally of the leader right here in this box for easy reference.

This one needs an update :)

I started 27-45 due to inexplicably horrific pitching but managed to finish with 93 wins....

I finished with much fewer SBs than planned. I think a lot of that was bad luck of the draw concerning opponents' catchers. My 1962 Wills finished with 99 steals and I see that the 62 Wills for the team claiming the bounty had 166 steals. Of course i had him & the rest of the team set to '5', but 166 to 99 is obviously a massive difference.

That's the biggest challenge, getting lucky with the catchers arms.
