I've never heard of this "proud boy" email story before you just mentioned it, so I'm not even sure what the point of the post is? What did the left do wrong here? Was this a major talking point in the left before Ratcliffe came out with the new information?

The email story was TARGETING DEMOCRATS. Again, it wasn't a major story, so I fail to see how this is helping the left at all.

Thirdly, there is actual evidence that *some* of the riots have been instigated by white supremacists. I am of the opinion that the majority are instigated by police, but that's besides the point. So the "left" is right on this one.

Why don't you watch the numerous videos coming out daily from the streets of Portland? Spoiled, violent, faux revolutionaries causing wanton destruction in no way provoked by the fine, overworked Portland PD.

This doesn't relate at *all* to what I said. Firstly, I said most, not all. Second, when I say 'instigate', I'm referring to June when the protests started, or to points where protesting went up dramatically.

That said, I would probably disagree with what's going on in Portland right now.

I also disagree with the narrative that BLM, on the whole, is a violent movement. They're factually not (of course, violent is subjective, but I would at least define it as over 10%).

Furthermore, the narrative that Biden's poll numbers are hurt by "law and order" talk isn't true either. Biden doesn't support rioting. Trump has made the riots, specifically in Portland, much worse through his unilateral action. Voters trust Biden more on issues like uniting the country and on racial justice. If your argument was true, why did Biden get a boost in polling in early June? Why did he gain in Wisconsin after Kenosha?

I would probably disagree that Iran wants Biden, but then I remembered that Trump would (and has) sell America out for MbS.

Trump pulling out of the JCPOA was possibly the worst foreign policy decision America has made in the last decade. I'm not really sure whether that decision benefitted Iran or not. Without thinking about it too much, it probably hurts their people and makes the government less popular, but increases their global position.

I don't really get the whole 'proud boys' thing in relation to the email story. I had never heard of the emails before you brought it up. Were people saying that the proud boys were behind this? I looked it up, and most are just reporting that Iranians were pretending to be pro-Trump people. not specifically Proud Boys.
