I wanted to give a shoutout to Benis' Rockhurst squad on finishing off a 4-peat in D2 Phelan last night. On top of that, he's made 6 championship games in the last 7 seasons. Congrats, dude! Only a couple of 4-peats in HD history and I *think* the best is 1 5-peat by gilispie's Kansas squad back in the day. No pressure next season!

rail's has the game's original 5 peat, in d2 at west chester pa in tark a dozen (and change) years ago. mine at kansas is the only d1, but there's 2 in game history.

interestingly, there are a significant number of 3 peats, but there is only 1 4peat in the game, and its stewdog at ga tech in d1 (don't recall the world off hand). actually that's a lie - simai has a d1 4peat from some world before humans were in d1 (arizona i think) - but there's only been the one human 4peat. there has never been a d2 or d3 4peat.

obviously good luck next season benis!! but take solace in knowing if you lose, you'll still have the only lower division 4peat in HD history.

Actually it's kinda funny, I beat darnoc last night for #4 but he actually beat me in the title game 5 seasons ago which would have given me the 5 peat. We definitely have a hell of a rivalry going which is a ton of fun!

I do recall stewdogs GT run in Iba a few years ago, crazy domination.

I'm losing some key guys so next season would be insane to even get a chance at another title but I've talked to my boys and reminded them to stay humble and focused.

Lastly, I'd like to thank the quarantine for removing all pesky distractions and enabling me to achieve this HD greatness. So long dive bars, work travel and tinder chicks!

You also beat me in the finals for #3 as well...not that I remember that or anything ;)

That's odd the line doesn't show up and I don't recall what it was. Even if there's no spread it should show as "even."

Yeah the title game never has a point spread. I have no idea why.

didn't they introduce the title point spread bug when 3.0 came out?

its funny benis i always feel like losing in the CT helps me keep focused for the NT, maybe it did for you too :) ive definitely looked back on my NT runs and shook my head at how few CTs i won. i wonder if its like that for most folks?
