Yeah the forum bickering kinda killed the forums. Everyone was afraid of to speak because of the elephant in the room.

I can only speak for myself here, as someone who used to frequent the forums quite a bit. I'm spending more time in conference chats these days. I'm in three pretty full, pretty active conferences.

So the game doesn't feel as desolate to me as it probably is.

Could use a website outage to spice things up.

The forum bickering for the past year or so has been nothing compared to what it was in the days of MikeT and Spud. Or when poopshoe and myself would argue constantly. It's pretty tame these days IMO (aka boringgg)

I totally understand. MikeT and a couple others were a large part of the reason why I stopped playing this game years ago. I didn't have the maturity to ignore people and just let it go, so I was constantly targeted as someone to harass on the forums, because I got offended and fought back. I refuse to get into that nonsense any more.

I don't know about any of you, but any bickering I do with the community, it's all done with a smile. I've bickered with shoe, gil, Trentonjoe a time or two, kc, mully and a few others. But then we'll turn around and have helpful sitemail communication that same day. The only one I haven't actually had helpful sitemails with is kc, and I would have no problem doing so! We just don't happen to cross paths ever in the game of HD.

Point is, I think everyone here is actually pretty cool for the most part. And I don't think the bickering is "real". It's more like having two brothers. If you have an argument with one and he hits you with a baseball bat, you know to just leave that brother alone when it comes to arguing about stuff. But the other brother, you guys always go back and forth with your arguments but you both always come back for more. So you know which one you can torment and you know which one not to.

I don't think anyone here REALLY dislikes each other. It's entertaining to debate things.

i generally agree but man i really hated that ettaexpress guy. that guy was the absolute worst.

Chiming in just so there's a little more activity in the forum. Just won my second championship last night, so pretty excited about that. Both have been in D2 Knight, but looking for a D1 someday with my other squad (Smith).

The real wardo was a delight.

I didn't know there was a real Wardo. That was before my return lol

Real Wardo was a Forums gem.
Fake Wardo not so much.
Etta was unbearable.
Spud earned me my first and only Forums ban.
MikeT...that dude was just an a-hole through and through. Argued just to argue and was an a** about it as well. I think the Forums are more user-friendly now...no doubt.
