Have the '84 All-Star game on in the background. The West started English, Dantley and Gervin. Dunno why, but that seems funny to me. Gotta be 40+ 19-ft shots just from those 3 coming...
Three guys who didn't do much other than score. I'd be happy to make a case for English being the most well-rounded of the three, since he had seasons when he rebounded and seasons where he passed the ball a meaningfully helpful amount. Dantley was the most efficient, mainly because he worked closest to the basket despite being the shortest in stature. English and Gervin had prettier games. None of them were long-distance gunners, but then again, the '80s NBA didn't ask them to be that.
