Ever held an opponent to 0 first downs? Topic

I know we have all played and shut out many Sim coached teams. Have any coaches ever held an opponent to zero first downs in a game? Can it be done?
I have for the first half, but never for a full game.
Any boxscores of this?

Best I've done is only 1 first down. Believe me we were running in practice the next day for that busted coverage.

I've never accomplished something like that or seen it done. I would feel at DIII or DII something like that could be more likely as the talent gaps can be larger than DIAA or DIA.

I recently had team held to Zero first downs in first half. But they had 7 in second half.

I never did that, but one time won a national championship without giving up a passing touchdown, 19 games, 9 human opponents, which I think is impressive.

Well, it's only the first half, but my opponent (sim) only had 1 first down and it was in the last 22 seconds of the half. I'd bet he'll make a few more in the second half. Anyone else able to hold to 0 first downs? Some of you Coaches with multiple teams? It may not be possible.

I had a date in high school where my offense was completely shut down.

Well, more than one.

Well, I rarely scored in high school.

OK, never scored, no first downs, basically lost yardage every play.
