This is my first real foray into the forums and I just felt like saying that this is awesome topdog. I’m still just at 3 so it might be a while before I make it

Also, piman the GOAT. Makes me more proud one of my chips was against him

Thanks man! And you'll get there soon. You've been building killer teams in Iba lately. So I'm sure we'll see you around shortly.

One of my favorite things I've tracked, and it's not hard to do at all, is my number of F4s, number of title games, and my record in those games. From there the BEST part is having a list of names of the coaches I've played against in those games. It makes it fun to see how you've faired against the best of the best.

I have one coach I'm 3-0 against (I will respectfully not name him). There's two coaches I've split 1-1 with in the big game. And i have three coaches I'm 0-1 against. THOSE are the three guys I'd love to face again, naturally! For some of the guys with lots and lots of titles, it's cool to go back and look at the breakdown and see who your rivals are.

I also keep track and update a "Team Championship" forum thread here, if you're interested in looking at that. It's total championships across all worlds by team, division, and for D1 also by conference. Check it out

Congrats to mrslam34 on winning two championships in the same night!! Not sure I've seen that one since I've had this thread going. I've seen coaches on the championships page twice at the same time. But I think 2 in the same night is a first. At least its the first that I can remember.

Nice work! Also congrats to Chapelhillne, going back to back with Delaware St. Trying his best to keep up with the fantastic Vermont storyline!

Thank you - Yeah, Vermont has been an amazing story. I was thrilled to get my first back to back in D1, especially with it being Delaware State.

Thanks! Very excited about the double titles last night. I'm only coaching four teams in 1x worlds and one team in a 2x world so the odds of everything lining up like that are pretty long.

Congrats to Chapel on the back to back titles at Delaware State. Going back to back in D1 is tough enough, let alone at Delaware State.

Yawn..... I feel like no one has won any titles in ages. Will someone win something please so I can keep busy!

top dog - nice job with this, I never post very much any more, and literally struggle to schedule or recruit (not due to health, more I just am not that interested any more, still love the game though). So I am still around, noticed someone had 40, so I checked this post out, was more curious who had how many and such. I had no idea how many I had - was surprised it was 49 actually, thought it was less. been a while since I won one - LOL.

not that it matters, but ryan75 was also me, in my heyday, I think at least, ryan75 took over the d3 west conn program from oldresorter, and kept on the winning in d3. I think I finally quit when some got uncomfortable with me having two teams in the state of conneticut, uconn d1 and west conn in d3. This was before the potential change in the game, so it was not really much of an advantage, but at the time, I was winning so much, I didn't want to give any indication of mis - using the second user name. I really only did it, cause at the time, coaching that d3 dynasty was really fun.

anyhow, a little history & trip down memory lane. My son, majresorter, is now a college head coach. His team plays today. just got off the phone with him for about two hours, figuring out the same stuff we used to talk about when he was 14 and coaching whatif teams, depth charts, usage, pace, defensive types, etc, etc, etc - he is known as a great recruiter. We use whatif terms all the time when disussing recruiting, things like bh/pa, off iq, athlete vs speed vs defense - we include strength too, also, how you dole out effort, all that stuff applies very much so to real life college recruiting. So thx to the game for him, he / we learned a great deal - LOL

Congrat's to pieman, and all those who have won alot, great to see! I never do this, but I might have to take a look see at what he is doin, does he have some secret nobody else knows about?

Anyhow - good luck to all of you guys - nice job keeping this thread current. God bless!

A living HD legend if there ever was one. Do you mind us asking where your son coaches? That's an awesome story / outcome from HD.

I'm a workforce analyst (easier than typing out my full title) for a Fortune 500 company and I've always thought about transitioning my career into sports analytics and potentially some sort of coaching career in basketball or football but for now it's just a daydream.

Thanks man! Just trying to continue the path that the great coaches from the past have already built up for the community.

Thanks for sharing your story!

No prob man! I'm chasing my first in Allen as well. I need that one for the "All 1x World Title Cycle". I wanted to try to be the first (known) coach to win a title in all 10 worlds, but I just have no patience for 2x worlds. Every time I turn around, I missed game planning for the 2pm games and recruiting is starting again. Blahhhhh!

So I'll aim for a title in all 1x worlds and claim I did it first, until someone like qb or arfy shows up and tells me they've accomplished it a long time ago, and ruin my fun!
