This question is pretty simple. I was a B+ during RS1 and now my prestige is at an A.
Now during RS2, do the 500 AP I have on this recruit that I want all reflect the A prestige? Or since I put them on during RS1, do they still have B+ effect?
All recruiting actions are converted to recruit effort immediately when they are processed. This is why its hugely impactful when offering starts/minutes to recruits prior to any HVs/CVs for recruits who Wants to Play (otherwise you won't get as much benefit for the preference).
So your increase in prestige does NOT effect any effort put in RS1 (In fact, it is unclear if the new prestige even works in RS2 and you may still only be using the B+ prestige in RS2).
Hmmm. That is lame.
At the very least, if a recruit has a “wants success” preference, you should get some sort of additional effort credit when going Sweet 16 or better.
In real life... ah, nvm. ;-)
This brings up another irritating situation for me......
I realize we can't make this a cookie cutter game and there has to be some element of surprise when it comes to recruiting. But I've had so many situations where a recruit "wants success", I'll lead on the player for most or all of RS1, win the championship that season..... only for RS2 to begin and the recruits gives me the finger while signing up for C+ prestige school that missed the NT and had 10 wins. And I'll lose a 76/24 roll while leading.
If a recruit wants success, how can they spurn the champ?
