I run a camp with Di and DII checked all the time for my DII teams. Or D2 and D3 checked for my D3 teams.
I don't know if shows the mix before the camp (it does show total invited players number and what you will be charged) .. but it is random and I do think w/in 500 miles.
The great thing about a camp is, you get charged $60 per recruit .. but you get 2 levels of advancement. So you want to run these first, before any other recruiting option (except maybe the FSS) .. Certainly before you do Assistant Coach searches. This is because if someone comes to your camp that you already have scouted to level 3 (for example) .. you can only get one level and not 2 level to go to level 4 .. This means you have wasted one advancement.
So. I would :
1) Do a private camp .. it processes at the top of the next hour after you schedule it.
2) Do a public camp .. I do these if I have a D2 or D3 team .. I skip them for my D1 teams as you have to pay for some d2 recruits.
3) After both of the camp options process .. I do FSS that i am going to do for this session.
After all 3 of those are complete .. then I start doing Assistant Coach searches. I start out within 100 miles and only do "Further scout discovered players" this will advance to a higher level all the recruits I have already identified. I then go out from 100 to 200 to 300 to 400, etc. from there.
The exception here is if you’re going to scout D2 internationals. If you’re a D2 or D3 team, and you plan to scout D2 internationals, the FIRST thing you want to do is FSS and then assistant search the international pool. Then carry on with the rest. If you start with a camp, you won’t have the cash to get the internationals with the assistant, your pool is too big.
