I apologize if I’ve been the latter lol - but winning with fatigued staffs is my current favorite thing on this site! Even had a no hitter from 71% 96 Maddux in hilltop!

I'm thinking more of the flukey quality start by a normally mediocre pitcher who is down to 70%, or a few scoreless innings by tired relievers who do usually get hammered. Occasionally they'll have a good outing by chance, and it's just annoying when that is against your team. OTOH, I do enjoy trying to squeeze all the quality I can out of an ace pitcher.

I hate the fact that they use fake names for AAA guys...and they should all be just minimum qualifying “human blow out patches”...

I hate that in the first team I ever entered, I won it all(under a different name) and then started to explore the forums to get more detailed info on how the sim works, and have gotten my *** kicked ever since...

I hate the fact that I can’t throw a position player on the mound during a blow out to eat up some innings...

I hate that some of you vets tried to wrestle away my minor leaguers before I realized they had real identities...I don’t remember who you vets were...

And I hate reading bagchucker posts on an empty stomach(or full stumach either), but I like when he is in the same league as me...He usually kicks my *** but I feel I have him beat on a “maturity) scale...

And I hate that John Lennon gets more credit for being the “one” in the Beatles when it is rather obvious that Mccartney drove the bus(but an untimely death will do that, I.e.Clemente...)

Even though they had their own issues with flakiness, the single reason I pick the Stones best of that era over the Beatles by default is cuz Lennon. I wasn't old enough as it happened but have older bro and sis and musical genius father hand-me-downs and research that Lennon's profession as a good musician and songwriter gave him too much leeway on personal slants away from the recording studio. It got him killed. Not to mention his jealousy gone overboard at McCartney after what had previously been a 50/50 collab between them in songwriting when McCartney caught solo lifetime inspiration with 'Yesterday'. They had a couple more years of success but basically the beginning of the end, and Lennon later as a soloist shaded McCartney in lyrics and interviews. Did we even get around to Yoko ?!

Dad got a Grammy ballot every year and might've voted for them. He tore out the rock/pop section for us kids. I vaguely remember checking a box for Sex Pistols as best foreign newcomer.

Kool. Yep, I get it. Nothin wrong there at all, just careful watering it down too much. There's opera/orchestra conductors with more hardware than Whitney and Mariah combined.

I appreciate the bigger package (that's what she said). In general, singers sing. It's a bonus if they do more. That's why, to me, Mariah has it over Whitney or Rhiannon. The list is long of great singers not doing their own stuff but making it their own as they say. Ya still gotta know how to pick 'em, and often it's the writer still collecting royalties long after the singer is done with it.
