I think 8 good players can be found on every team. Also those top teams will be leaving some good players on the board to draft

I look forward to the opportunity to compete with the 14th team selected in this draft, and there will be some good players available in the draft portion. But I have done enough research to assure you that there are not 8 good players on every team.

I am afraid I have to agree with firesalt. I’ve already done the top 8 teams in each league. Keeping 8 good players gets very sparse after 4 or 5 teams in each league. The NL looks slightly deeper than the AL

But that just means the bottom teams might take 2 or 3 years of development before they can expect to win a division. Now if the divisions were created based on draft order, that would make everyone competitive immediately.

To add 2 more cents, I think the NL has 8 good teams, though the top 4 will be tough to compete against. It is the AL that is shallow, lacking good top-down talent among the bottom four teams (not even counting the ones that won't be selected).
