I figured this guy would hit about .240, not the buck-ninety he's hitting after 35 games. Do you think he's closer to the .240 type or the .190 type?

His splits are awful with bad contact he is right where he should be!

The difference between .200 and .250 over 40 at bats is two base hits.

This guy gets lucky, he hits .250, most of the time he's gonna be closer to .200. Anywhere in there is just random sampling (or whatever the proper term is).

I'd say .230. The problem is his glove makes him not worth it at SS and his bat makes him not useable anywhere else.

His OBP is around 50 points lower than my formula spits out, but the sample size is really low

Yeah, he's better than .190, but he's definitely not a .240 guy. My first thought looking at him was .220 with poor power. His range has him profile as a CF, but his bat doesn't justify it.

He's probably honestly a AAAA type, but could stick around as a utility everything (even SS in a rare pinch, but not regularly), depending on your team build and how competitive you are. Definitely have to cut him loose after he hits arbitration though

Which means he would come off the bench to pinch hit. I wouldn't want him pinch hitting on my team.

If he ran the bases better he’d be a perfect 25th man, but with Speed of 99 and base running IQ of 40 you could have him come in as a pinch runner, get picked off and end up screaming at your phone.
