When does the 20 x 20 version start?

Thinking completely outside the box, we could do a 24x24, where each person would nominate two players (same position) and combine 24 of their best seasons into one draft slot. We'd need to make sure every player had enough full time seasons so all 24 owners can build a viable team without fatigue issues. Also, I'd want to make it so the two players are similar in skill and also from the same era and maybe even make it so the 24 seasons are (or nearly) consecutive (i.e., no overlap). This would open up a ton of possibilities. Pedro (94-05) & Kershaw (09-20) could be one combo, but you wouldn't necessarily need to pick players with 12 usable seasons each. You could go as extreme as 8 & 16 or anything in between.

I almost took him with my most recent pick because I kind of wanted Akers, but I realized that he was only going to replace '98 Mariano Rivera (not even sure that is an upgrade). I needed the salary savings '05 Nomar provided more.

I can finish my team now... 1967 Lindblad.... and he even brings my backup catcher.

That leaves 1972 Lindblad for Chisock. barracuda gets 2008 Verlander. njbigwig gets 2016 Mauer. mllama54 needs his O'Neill (alice gets the last O'Neill) and we are done.
