So correct, the already created leagues are having trouble taking this change and Chris and I are looking into the root cause. Once we figure out why these already created leagues are generating AAA still we will put in a fix. I am guessing the latest you'll see a fix from us will be next Thursday because we have another patch coming out.

So I apologize for the misinformation, I actually am in one of these leagues and was expecting not to have AAA myself. I appreciate the understanding in this.

So I bought a few games ahead some time ago. I have been drafting into them over time. As I play only one team at a time, I just select one to activate as my current team's season ends. Is there a way that I could back them out in order to enroll them in the special leagues folks have mentioned in comments wherein you get to keep and enjoy the AAA option? If so, how could I do that? I was caught with several teams when the message killing the AAA came out and I hate to see them go to waste.

Towards the top right in your draft center for each team you can select “Edit League Option” and it will take you back to the league select menu. If eligible (you are) for champs leagues you can select them as the first choice listed, if not eligible, then you can put in the league number for a OL style theme with AAA. There are a couple filling now (MLB130812 was one, but may be full now - you’re welcome to try) and you can find their league numbers from the Theme League Classified forum.

Thank you just4me. That is just what I needed to know. I didn't ever noodle around in that sort of thing because I never did feel the need.

I'll go right overy there and check it out.

BTW, just4me, it did work for me, just as you said, exactly so, and not difficult. I never dreamed that I was eligible for a champions league, or anything like that given me...er...lackluster winning percentage.

I've said this years ago. But I hate the"Normalization method" used in this theme. hat newbies don't like is the modern sluggers are NOT anywhere as good as the Gavvy Cravath's et all. All time under-ballers are far superior to modern day aces.

I love this game. But the "normalization method" is wack and what I said is the number 1 complaint I've heard from newbies through the years.

I remember a back-and-forth with WIS years ago, when I argued some adjustments based on the eras of the sport. They defended the use of across the board mathematical adjustments without applying contextual interpretation -- with an exclamation point! if I recall correctly.

Never mind that these seemingly objective mathematical adjustments are not only very flawed if not applied with artistry, but are also based upon subjective, contextual judgments.
