New features/changes/bug fixes:

SimLeague Baseball:

• SLB Draft Center Update to include Projected Stats (Per 162)

Hoops Dynasty:

• Added Temporary Static Discord Promo Banner

• Updated final job application logic on jobs page UI to match new system

• Added (*) to the Big Board page on players that will graduate or go to the draft.

• Fixed issue where promises were not forced to be kept on ineligible players that sit out a year.

Hardball Dynasty:

• Added more colored dots for classifying players

• Increased budgets changes year over year to $5 million (previously was $4 million)

• Added text change to budget transfer page to be consistent with the new system.

Gridiron Dynasty:

• Reimplementation of scholarship withdraw penalty (from previous patch)

  • Withdrawing a scholarship will remove a significant % of previous effort given to the recruit.

• Fixed logic where freshmen promised playing time, would not take a WE hit when redshirt, now freshmen promised anything given a redshirt will result in a WE loss that is irreversible.

• Fixed issued where informing a player of Redshirt was not is a permanent WE hit, we have added a warning when you choose to redshirt a player

I might take 10 or so minutes to populate but the patch is live.

Hey Adam, thanks for the patch! Excited that the job logic is fixed! Looks like your 4/15 banner on the HD homepage hyperlink doesn’t route to this page (it routes the the opening day promo). Thanks for your work and improvements!

Also, the patch is taking a while to populate for the job UI stuff. The stars on the Big Board are up, but in the Allen world my job qualification advice is still blank.

When does this start? I'm in the middle of recruiting in Rockne, so will this affect the players that I just signed?

$5 million is a start but still not good enough. Needs to be $8 million for budgets. Still ridiculously low. Shouldn't take 4-5 seasons to get from one end to the other. Dots aren't showing up as different colors as of yet. All new dots look like baseballs?

I appreciate the change on HBD budgets, but it has to be higher. As a franchise owner I should be able to spend money however it works best for my team. For example, it shouldn't take four seasons to change form High School scouting to college scouting, if I would like to make that change.

Don't futz with the budget any more than you have, but what's up with the colored dots? I feel like they need to show as different colors or we should be able to assign our own colors.

Umm, I am confused you can assign different color. If are having issues just hit crtl + F5 and refresh you cache.

Adam, thanks for the update in the SLB draft center for projected stats.

two quick notes:

1. it may be helpful in the text to say “Projected /162 stats”, as newer owners may think the stats are a projection of the performance and May not fully understand the purpose.

2. it looks like projected K/BB numbers for pitchers are showing more numbers than maybe intended. While it May not be as you intended but I don’t think it really matters other than aesthetics.

here’s what my pitchers projected K/BB numbers appear:

At first the 4 new buttons on the lower were baseballs; when clicked, the color dot would change but you don't know what the color is until you refresh.
Now, the dots on the lower row are white and empty - they will still change the color, but they don't display the color that they will be changed into. Just all white.
ETA: and now they're there. Yay.

same on Chrome....the bottom row of buttons are just white. when you click on them and refresh the page it shows up on the GM page in the new color, but not on the player card...bottom row always white on the player card.

but, yes, hitting Ctrl-F5 will make it work as intended.

Is it true that this will affect the Rockne signings that were made before you announced the patch? If this is so, I really do not see how this is fair when people recruited based on the old rules. I have ZERO issue with the new penalty for redshirting a promised PT player, but it’s a bit harsh to put that rule into effect after signings have been made and before recruiting has ended.

Unfortunately you can thank the old development teams for not coding the world to hold different version of the code that's ideally when I would like to do these updates, in the offseason but its not technically possible. Unfortunately a necessary change like this one was going to impact a world no matter what, it just happened to be Rockne and everyone will be impacted by it, so that is unfortunately the fairest way to deal with it.
