All the disaster predictions I heard in the 70's we gonna run out of oil by 1987. California is gong to slide off into the ocean. Big earthquake is gonna hit any day now. and we believed them. (I did not, and to this day still do not)

They are PHONIES. NONE IF THE STUFF EVER HAPPENED!!!

Yet John Kerry is to be believed? He knows NOTHING but 'they' sell him as an expert. Call me any name you want, but don't buy the lies! Kerry is no climatologist

I've made it clear that I think lostnfound is an extemist nutjob and have him blocked, but aren't some of the things he's saying in-line with what "experts" used to say? There was a time "experts" said the World was flat, and even earlier in my lifetime many experts said homosexuality was a mental disease, so questioning those "experts" is certainly not a bad thing. FWIW, athletes, movie or TV stars, and politicians are NOT experts.

has someone here said that athletes, movie and TV stars and politicians are experts? I must have missed that.Nothing wrong with questioning experts, but don't claim to know better than the experts. Also a little suspicious when you only question the experts who say something that doesn't match your opinion.

Sorry, wylie is correct - nobody anywhere has ever taken the word of an athlete, a movie or tv star, or a politician as though it were the word of an "expert" (I guess Lebron is an expert on everything.) , and them not doing so has never lead to any comments in these threads. Also, I didn't realize that wylie posted "I agree" with every comment or opinion of every expert where that's true. I must have missed all those threads. I've sure seen the posts where he disagrees though. Do as he says, not as he does, since it doesn't fit his narrative.

where did I say I agree with every expert? Who here has claimed the an athlete, actor or politician was an expert. Show me some of those posts. Yes, you've seen plenty of posts where I disagree with some of the people here, but they are not experts.
