I can actually pick here. NoComm999 has Gooden. 1984 is lowest year for him. So I can take a player from 1950's.
Next four after him are all at the extreme ends on both ends.

Technically, as spasticcolon pointed out, nocomm999 could take Ashburn who has sim seasons until 1962. I am sure he will not but the pick will not become official until nocomm999 or anyone else who can take Ashburn has picked or oldtimer59's time slot comes up at 6:30 pm.

haha - that's what I meant. I can't imagine that being a strategy even I would pursue, and I'm as incompetent at drafts as the Rockies management team.
