Sounds to me like being Jewish is all about how you view yourself. Same with Christianity I suppose.
Heck maybe that's where these young'uns that are confused as to what they be GOT the idea!
I wouldn't want to associate with any group of folks who'd want ME in their group anyways.
And, I sure ain't holier than ANYBODY else. The whole idea repulses me as well as confounds me.
It also sounds to me like Jews are inherently self-pious IF they can't accept Jesus as the Son just because he had a human deity/form.
That's judgmental.
And Dino, my friend, you're way out of whack on this one.
You do NOT get to decide who is or who isn't Jewish........... just as I don't get to decide who gets to ramble around my favorite mountain range.
I can try and scare 'em off, though.
I got a variety of tricks.
I’m not deciding I’m just discussing the prevelant thought on the subject.
I don’t understand your point about pious and Jesus.
im just saying that the Jewish religion literally considers it a sin to pray to idols or to accept God in a human form and that is why it is literally impossible to be Jewish and Christian at the same time and all 4 sects of Judaism are adamant on this issue.
rabbis will officiate inter marriages but on the definition of who is Jewish believing in Jesus as God excludes you because it is God in human form even if Jesus was Jewish. It does bot matter.
I hope that explains.
