I’ve been meaning to ask - how are Martin, Groshans, Simeon Woods Richardson and the other kids doing down with the Fisher Cats?
The past week has been extremely difficult as a Jays fan and I need something to look forward to. Although calling up Manoah is a start.

Sadly, Groshans didn't play. Martin had a bad game: 0 for 4 with 3 Ks, and former Blue Jays and current Red Sox farmhand Josh Winckowski made him look foolish in consecutive at bats. This was the first game I attended this year so I can't comment more generally. I live in Boston but will usually spend 2 or 3 weekends per year up in Manchester watching baseball, but I made this trip with my gf so I only went to one game.

This won't make you feel any better since the Jays gave him up, but Winckowski looks like the real deal. Good stuff, and the command and smarts to go with it. And for the record, although I live in Boston I was born and raised in NJ and am a diehard lifelong Yankees fan, so I didn't want Winckowski to be good. I texted one of my Sox fan friends from the game and told him that I really hope the Sox trade him.
