Of thinking those on the left possess common sense and any actual grasp on truth/reality just remember: they are advocating for all of us to share our pronouns/put them on our social media profiles/ on our resumes/begin conversations by confirming each other's pronouns. All of this for something that is obvious 99.99% of the time!
Liberals are not attuned to reality, this is for certain.. yall will all learn this lesson eventually, some sooner than others
No one's asking you to start each conversation by sharing pronouns. I've accidentally misgendered people before and it's OK, as long as you correct it going forward. If I'm ever not sure I ask. It's really not that big a deal/
However, pronouns on social media are important for two reasons.
1. It's important because some people have anonymity on social media and so you don't know what pronouns to use.
2. It's important to normalize putting pronouns in bio, even if you're not trans, because otherwise it could lead to ostracization - you don't want a scenario where only trans people or nonbinary people have their pronouns in their profiles. You want to normalize it for more people so there's less social ostracization - that's a good thing.
I really don't understand why this is such a big deal. No one is going to hurt you for not having your pronouns in your social media profiles. But it's probably a good thing to do, imo.
